KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

DEAR 2026 WLC ATTENDEES:

We look forward to welcoming you on Monday, August 31st, and Tuesday, September 1st, 2026, for the 19th Annual Women’s Leadership Conference at The MGM Grand Conference Center (“Conference Center”)! Below are some essential tips to KNOW BEFORE YOU GO to WLC!

CONFERENCE APP: Make the most of your time by planning ahead! We strongly urge you to log into the official conference app on which you will be able to access • the general program schedule • your personalized schedule including the education sessions you have selected • all speaker handouts • sponsors • real-time conference notifications • the attendee directory • the 2026 WLC overall survey. Here is the login for the conference app:

  • Download: Go Attend App
  • Log in: Using the email address and password created at registration

Dress is professional/business casual. It is recommended that you wear comfortable shoes because some find the walk from the MGM Grand parking garage directly across the street to the Conference Center to be lengthy, and the Conference Center itself is large. All our conference proceedings are scheduled for the 3rd Floor.

No free parking. The Conference Center will not provide free self-parking or valet parking for the 2026 WLC. Self-parking. Self-parking is available for non-registered hotel guests at the MGM Grand guest parking garage directly across the street from the Conference Center for a flat fee of $20 for 1–24 hours Monday through Thursday (weekdays) and $25 for 1-24 hours on Friday through Sunday (weekends). Registered hotel guests have a reduced daily parking fee of $20 Monday through Sunday. Nevada residents receive up to 3 hours complimentary parking with valid NV driver license at exit gate (except during special entertainment events, such as concerts). Hotel Valet Service. Valet parking is available in front of the MGM Grand Hotel for a flat fee of $40 Monday through Sunday. Anyone using this service would have to walk to the Conference Center. [All quoted rates subject to change]  Conference Center Valet Service for persons with disabilities/special needs. For persons with disabilities or special needs valet attendants will be available during WLC in front of the Conference Center at no cost, with tipping at the guest’s discretion. Otherwise, valet service will not be generally available in front of the Conference Center. For further information about MGM Grand parking you may consult this website link: https://www.mgmresorts.com/en/things-to-do/parking.html

Early Registration. If you want to beat the lines on Monday morning, August 31st, we are offering early registration on Sunday, August 30th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Conference Center 3rd Floor. August 31st – September 1st Registration. The Registration & Information Desks are available from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31st and from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1st. A member of our team will be available to assist you.

You should wear your WLC name badge prominently displayed throughout the conference day and at conference events. This allows conference participants to easily identify each other for engaging in conversations. It also aids conference security in maintaining a safe conference space.

Free Wi-Fi will be available for all WLC attendees. Instructions for use of MGM Resorts complimentary Wi-Fi will be posted at the Registration Desk. In a nutshell it is a two-step process: 1) Select “MGM Resorts – Wi-Fi” among the available networks, and 2) Select “I agree to the following terms & conditions and privacy policy.” You will then be connected to the internet and Wi-Fi. For any issues with this service, please contact 877.283.4114.

Breakfast. Please join us for a continental breakfast at the Chairman’s Ballroom on the 3rd Floor of the Conference Center from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on Monday, August 31st (program begins at 8:45 a.m.) and 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1st (program begins at 8:45 a.m.). If you are accustomed to having a heavier breakfast than continental-style, you may wish to have breakfast at home (or elsewhere) before arrival at the conference. Networking Breaks. Snacks and coffee, tea and water beverages will be available in the hallways on the 3rd floor of the Conference Center during networking breaks. Lunch. Lunch on Monday, August 31st and Tuesday, September 1st will be served at a sit-down meal in the Chairman’s Ballroom on the 3rd Floor of the Conference Center.

When you registered for 2026 WLC, you were asked to choose among the Emerging Leader, Emerging Executive or Executive/Officer Tracks. The education sessions have been specifically tailored to your track and because seating may be limited, please attend only the sessions for which you registered. Room numbers for all Education Sessions will be reflected in the general program schedule and your personal schedule, and are posted on the 3rd Floor electronic schedule.

Digital handouts for your Education Sessions are available via the WLC mobile conference app for conference registrants to pre-read, download or print. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE HANDOUTS CAN ONLY BE ACCESSED DIGITALLY. If you wish to have a physical copy of a handout, please print it prior to your arrival. WLC will not provide facilities for printing handouts at the conference. At your own expense you may print handouts at the Conference Center’s Fed Ex office, but be aware that those printing prices are expensive.

FWLE wants to make WLC sessions as valuable as possible, and your feedback is vital to this goal. At the end of each session the presenter will show a slide containing a QR code for a short survey for your evaluation of the presentation and the presenter. It should take less than 3 minutes. We urge you to complete the survey immediately after the conclusion of the session and before you leave the session room, while your observations are fresh. We would love to hear your input!

All conference registrants will receive an exclusive WLC conference bag and Program Book when they check in. These reusable tote bags contain handy items from some of our generous sponsors!

A WLC vendor will present merchandise for sale in the Chairman’s Ballroom – ranging from handbags to jewelry accessories to enhance your desired look. Check them out during meals or breaks!

Every conference participant is a VIP in our book! Stay just a little longer for a reception to end our Monday, August 31st activities. The VIP Reception will be held in the Pre-Function Area outside of the Premier Ballroom on the 3rd Floor of the Conference Center.  It’s a great place to meet our speakers and network with new colleagues!

During WLC networking or social events where alcoholic beverages may be available, FWLE expects participants to drink responsibly. FWLE and venue staff reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to request proof of age and other identification before serving alcoholic beverages; to refuse service or alcoholic beverages for any reason; and if necessary, to require a participant to leave.

FWLE is committed to promoting a safe and secure environment at its meetings and events and works in coordination with venue personnel to help safeguard all involved. We note especially: If you feel ill for any reason, or you are experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or any other communicable illness, please do not attend WLC, so as not to jeopardize the health of others. If you become ill during the conference, we ask that you leave and attend to your health. Participants are urged to promptly report any concerning, unsafe, or inappropriate conduct to FWLE staff, volunteers, or security personnel so that appropriate action may be taken. Please refer to the Notice Regarding FWLE Health, Safety & Security Policies on the Conference App.

Please complete our conference survey which can be accessed via the QR Code located at the back of the program book, or the link that will be circulated to conference registrants after the close of the conference. A $100 Amazon gift card will be awarded to a randomly selected participant who completes the survey timely!

Last but most important, you will gain the most out of this two-day experience if you focus on staying present, and not attending to distractions such as cell phone texts, calls, etc. You, your employer, or someone else has paid for you to attend this conference for the enrichment it can bring you. There will be A-HA! moments and new connections that may change your perspective, so try to put aside your phones except when urgent. You won’t regret it!

If you have any questions, please email info@fwle.org. Thank you and we hope to see you at WLC on Monday, August 31st and Tuesday, September 1st!

HAVE A GREAT WLC EXPERIENCE!

Sincerely,

The Foundation for Women’s Leadership & Empowerment
